Lemnos Releases New LINES ABS Clocks

Lemnos, the world’s leading design clock company from Japan releases today the Lines ABS and Numbers ABS clocks for the North American markets.  The two clocks are designed by Japanese designer Yota Kakuda and are available in white and gray ABS resin clock frames.

The Lines ABS’ ultra-thin hour dials, along with the elongated minute and second hands, together creates a strong, minimalist design juxtaposition to that of Numbers ABS’ bold and enlarged number face.  One could very well place two clocks side by side as two opposing and yet complementary design motifs.  A definitive statement of minimalism and design to showcase for any space.

The Lemnos Lines ABS clock is composed of twelve long lines only, while retaining the function to tell time. The sophisticated appearance was achieved by the designer’s minute adjustment to the hour lines on the clock face, the thinness of the hands, and the color consistency.  As the second sweep across the twelve dials on the clock face, it shall blend in and disappear twelve times, every minute.  The Lines ABS comes in White or Gray ABS resin frames.

The Lemnos Numbers ABS clock displays time with numbers enlarged to the maximum size and strength, and yet arranged to look natural on the clean clock face. The clock lets you witness time from every angle of the room.  The Numbers ABS comes in White or Gray ABS resin frames.

Made in Japan by Japanese craftsmen, the Lemnos Lines ABS and Numbers ABS clocks retain Lemnos’ signature brand-less clock face designs.  They use Seiko Japan sweeping second movement and have a US retail price of $120.
