Lemnos has teamed up with Japanese design firm STUDIO SURUME to start 2019 with the release of the Perch Clock.  Made with Lemnos’ signature plywood frame handcrafted in Toyama Japan by craftsmen, the Perch Clock features hour, minute, and second hands made in the motif of leaves and insects.

Available now to order from ACGS, the Perch Clock by Lemnos comes in three variations: Swallowtail Blue Butterfly (AGEHA), Eastern Pale Clouded Yellow Butterfly (MONKI), Asian Ladybug (TENTO). 

Every hour, the insect will rest on the leaves when the minute hand and the hour hand intersect.  Every so often, when we look up to the clock, we will witness this cleverly and tastefully designed coincidence.  A wonderful story is born hour-to-hour, while we notice the passing of time – subtly, naturally, and quietly.
