California Prop 65

California Prop 65

CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65

In 1986, California voters approved the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, known as Proposition 65, requiring businesses to provide warnings to customers about potential exposure to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Certain products purchased for sale to California consumers are covered by Prop 65 and require a Prop 65 warning. These products may result in an exposure to one or more of the chemicals in the Prop 65 List.  For ACGS’ customers purchasing products distributed by ACGS and are subsequently selling or distributing to customers and entities in the State of California, please be advised to provide a Prop 65 warning to fulfill Prop 65 compliance.

If you are an existing ACGS customer, this serves as a written letter record of ACGS’ customer’s responsibility for Prop 65 compliance.  Please check and review this web page regularly regarding any updates pertaining California Prop 65 and contact us if you have any questions.
