ACGS releases new Lemnos Riki Ring Clock in two color variations
From the late Riki Watanabe’s last design archive comes the master’s last design masterpiece the Riki Ring Clock in white and black. Weighing a little over 1 kilogram and handmade by Japanese craftsmen in Toyama Japan in Aluminum, the Riki Ring Clock by Lemnos is a silent sweeping timepiece for any interior of elegance and substance.
Featuring an hour dial in the design of eyeglass frame and a second hand in orange, the new and yet classic Riki Ring Clock was designed by Riki Watanabe based on the concept of “Omission.”
The Riki Ring Clock delivers an exquisite balance between decorative reference marks/pointers and functional beauty. In the postmodern era and at a time when semiotics theories are being re-assessed, the clock suggests a reinterpretation of antiques and a new perception of time by the designer who was well versed in literature and philosophy.
The Lemnos Riki Ring Clock achieves a light, effortless style by pursuing the great potential of modern clocks. The design becomes an instant classic the moment it is released. Such is the gracefulness and skillfulness developed by a master with time.
It has taken almost 40 years for this design masterpiece of a clock from a legendary design master to be released to the public. For media assets, product information, and availability on the new Lemnos Riki Ring Clock please contact us.
